    "PH"itness in the Park: Join Lauren Siegel from Liberty Pilates at 8:00 AM for a moderate workout focused on improving posture, strength, flexibility and stability while being easy on the joints. Sessions will incorporate a variety of calisthenics, pilates and dynamic stretching exercises which can be modified for all levels. This is a free event.

    Expanded Farmer's Market: The HPHA has invited all of our HPHA Businesses to join Stonyhill Farm in an expanded Farmer's Market. In addition, children are invited to take part in a free tricorn hat craft at our HPHA table from 10:00 to 11:30 to wear at the Battle of Paulus Hook Event at 11:30 AM.

    Battle of Paulus Hook Event: You are not officially a Paulus Hook resident until you join our tradition of waving the American Flag walking down Washington Street in our Battle of Paulus Hook Event. This family friendly event is a short walk from Morris Canal Park to Four Corners Park where you will hear the story of the Battle of Paulus Hook read out loud. Bring the whole family to this special event.

    Come early to the HPHA Table to have your children make a special three pointed hat to wear during the walk!

    Immigrant Experience at Liberty State Park

    Paulus Hook Weekend Event

    History Tour: Let's go as a community on the 12:30 PM yellow ferry ($4 round trip) to Liberty State Park CRRNJ Terminal. There we will enjoy a history tour of this iconic building with views of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. A must see for anyone that calls Jersey City their home. 

    While at the Liberty State Park learn more about the wonderful activities available at the New Jersey State Park that is in Paulus Hooks backyard. Then take a leisurely walk through the park to see the many statues and monuments on display for public viewing. 

    The tour starts at 1:00 PM so you will have time before the tour to see the Park's 9-11 Memorial.
